Carbamide peroxide is a combination of hydrogen peroxide and another chemical compound called carbamide or urea. While it has a slightly different chemical makeup, carbamide peroxide is also an oxidizing agent and works on stains in the same way that hydrodgen peroxide does. Carbamide peroxide contains hydrogen peroxide at a ratio of 3:1. For example, a product with 30% carbamide peroxide has about 10% hydrogen peroxide.
